Dudek GovWin Login and Startup Guide
1. Logging Into GovWin
Open web browser and navigate to iq.govwin.com Select the Login button at the top right corner

Enter email address in the USERNAME and click the Next button.

If it is your first time logging in and your account has been partially set up for you, it will ask you to confirm your profile information and accept the terms of use.
If it is your first time logging in and your account has not been partially set up for you, you will be asked to fill out basic profile information; Dudek’s marketing team will be notified, and work with IT to enable your account login.
Dudek IT requires SSO; if you are not logged in to your Microsoft account, you may be prompted for that login.
2. Accessing Shared Searches
Company Saved Searches are accessible on your My Searches page. My Searches is accessible from two locations in GovWin IQ:
▪ The My GovWin Homepage: Click My Searches under the My GovWin Links
▪ My GovWin Drop Down > My Searches

▪ Click to the My Company Searches tab.

▪ Under the My Company Searches tab, find the search you would like to copy.
▪ Click Run this Search.

By default, the searches that have been preconfigured by the marketing team have the following parameters:
▪ Status
- Forecast Pre-RFP: A researched opportunity that GovWin believes may result in procurement, but the Government has not yet confirmed.
- Pre-RFP: Government confirmed future requirement but the solicitation has not yet been released.
- Post-RFP: RFP has been released but the Solicitation/Proposal due date hasn't passed.
▪ Smart Tags: Products and Services
- Tailored to the offerings of the service group
▪ Keywords
- This is only used for org-level searches when absolutely necessary due to the nature of the services.
▪ Buying Org: Government Type
- USA: All State, Local, & Ed Government Types
▪ Opportunity Type
- Bid Notifications
- Lead Alerts
- Tracked Opportunities
3. Customizing Searches and Alerts
To edit/add basic criteria, use the area under Narrow Your Results to add or remove filter selections by clicking boxes next to filters.

The default searches preconfigured by the marketing team usually do not include filters for the following, all of which are likely relevant to your individual business development goals. We recommend adjusting them for your own profile. Note that you cannot save over another user’s search, including the practice group searches created by marketing. At minimum, you will likely need to adjust the following filters:
▪ Buying Org: Government Type
- If not pursuing federal clients, remove this item
- If only pursuing a subsection of SLED clients (e.g., City, Colleges/Universities), deselect “USA: All State,
Local, & Ed Government Types” and select the appropriate subcategory
▪ Organization Level 1
- Select the states in which you intend to pursue work in this section
▪ Status
- If performing market research, you may choose to look at previously awarded or otherwise noncompetitive contract records. These can be viewed by changing the selection in this filter.
More advanced tailoring is available by clicking Return to Advanced Search at the top:

Advanced Search allows filtering by many parameters; additional information about these fields can be seen by hovering over the icon to the right of the field name.

For highly specialized services or project types, keyword searches may be appropriate; please refer to GovWin’s Keyword Search Help info link for detailed information on keyword search logic.
To save your changes to the search parameters, click Save Search on the upper right hand side

When the Pop-Up appears:
▪ Set your Search Title
- We recommend giving it a descriptive name like “UFMPs” or “Higher Education CEQA”; these searches will be visible to others in the firm.
- Please do not use the org number at the beginning of the name unless it is intended to be used as a base search for all members of that organization.
- Multiple users can have searches with the same name.
▪ Select Email Frequency of Daily or Weekly
- If you set frequency to Daily and there are no leads on a given day, you will not receive an email.
▪ Select Email Type of New Opportunities Only or Updates and New Opportunities
- New Opportunities Only will omit Post-RFP opportunities that were first added at an earlier status.
