Sharing Portion of Laptop Screen in Zoom

Use the method below should you need to Share only one portion of your laptop screen during a Zoom Meeting to the audience while maintaining full screen view for yourself.

For example, presenting only Powerpoint slides to the audience, while still being able to see Notes and navigation.

1. In Zoom app under the Meetings menu, choose the appropriate meeting scheduled, and select Join from a Room or Start.

2. Once Zoom meeting starts, Click on Share Screen, and then click on Advanced TAB

Choose Portion of Screen, and Select Share

3. Then you will see a Green Frame, indicating what is to be shared, which can be moved and resized as needed.

4. Then you can still see your Notes at the bottom and navigation in this case which are NOT shared.
