As-Needed Employees Account Welcome Letter
Dudek is providing as-needed employees standard Single Sign-On (SSO) accounts to access their Office 365 email as well as other Dudek applications including Vision, Dayforce and Collector.
Account Setup & Email Access for As-Needed Employees
This process will guide you through the steps to setup your Dudek account and access your email for the first time.
1. In your web browser, launch https://outlook.office365.com/mail
2. Enter your Dudek-issued email address and click Next.
note: DO NOT click on "can't access your account?". That link is not compatible with Dudek email services, if you have trouble please call the Helpdesk at 760.479.4220

3. Follow the prompts to enter the initial password sent to you. You will then receive the following message if you have not yet set up Multifactor Authentication. Click Next.

4. Dudek systems require Multifactor Authentication in conjunction with Microsoft Authenticator for security purposes. Install and launch the Microsoft Authenticator app on your personal mobile device from the appropriate app store (available for both iOS and Android) and then click Next.

5. Click Next again to set up your account.

6. Use the Microsoft Authenticator app “Add Account -> Work or school account -> Scan a QR code” feature on your personal mobile device to scan the on-screen QR code to link your account. Then click Next.

7. Upon successful setup you will see this screen. Click Next.


8. After clicking the Done button as shown above, you will be prompted to change your password. Enter the initial password you were provided as the “Current password” and enter a new password of your choosing twice.
Note: your password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least 3 of the following four categories:
- Uppercase characters (A through Z)
- Lowercase characters (a through z)
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
- Special symbols or non-alphabetic characters (for example: !, $, #, %, etc.)
Then click Sign in.

9. If you are on a personal computer, you can click “Yes” on the screen below. If you are on a shared computer, click “No”.

10. You are now logged into your Dudek email account.
Note: Going forward, you will receive the below prompt on your phone’s Microsoft Authenticator App when signing into Dudek systems for added security. Please click “Approve” when prompted to complete the login.
If you receive this prompt when not actively logging in to email or other Dudek resources, please click “Deny” and report this to IT Help (call 760.479.4220 or email ithelp@dudek.com from your Dudek email address).
